At Moquin Press, we believe in the collective responsibility that businesses hold to operate responsibly and create value for workers, customers, and the surrounding communities alike. Our sustainability goals for 2023 included working with subject matter experts such as Ecovadis to evaluate our efforts toward improving the environment and society.
What is EcoVadis?
EcoVadis is the global standard for business sustainability ratings. The EcoVadis assessment takes an integrated approach to sustainability and evaluates 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. More than 85,000 companies globally have been rated by EcoVadis.
In order to obtain accreditation, it is essential for sustainable ethics and practices to be fully integrated throughout the entire business. Companies that have completed the EcoVadis assessment process and demonstrated responsible practices, evident at every organizational level are recognized with medals. This year Moquin Press has been awarded the Silver Medal based on our policies, actions, and results.
What does a Silver Medal mean?
EcoVadis scoring is created on a 0-100 scale, and recognition levels are based on a percentile ranking. By doing this, it’s easy to see how a business performs compared to its peers in a given market. Achieving Silver status puts Moquin Press in the Top 25% of businesses audited and measured around the globe and in the Top 24% of companies in the print and packaging manufacturing category.
What does it mean to our customers?
The EcoVadis Medal demonstrates that Moquin Press has been through a trusted evidence-based assessment of the company’s sustainability performance. Likewise, it ensures that our business is in alignment with global best practices and that we are willing to implement sustainability management systems that go beyond compliance.

EcoVadis doesn’t just provide a one-time assessment; it encourages ongoing monitoring and improvement. This cyclical approach urges companies like Moquin Press to continuously set sustainability goals and evaluate their policies, efforts, and results.
