Moquin Press receives the EcoVadis Silver Medal, ranking among the top 25% of companies worldwide for sustainability performance. This recognition reflects ongoing commitments to environmental stewardship, ethical practices, and continuous improvement.
At Moquin Press, we uphold the belief in businesses’ collective responsibility to operate responsibly and generate value for workers, customers, and surrounding communities alike. Therefore, in 2023, we set sustainability goals that involved collaborating with subject matter experts such as EcoVadis to assess our sustainability performance and efforts toward enhancing the environment.
What is EcoVadis?
EcoVadis stands as the global standard for business sustainability ratings. Their assessment takes an integrated approach, evaluating 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Notably, more than 85,000 companies globally have been rated by EcoVadis.
To attain accreditation, it’s crucial for sustainable ethics and practices to be fully integrated throughout the entire business. Companies completing the EcoVadis assessment process and demonstrating responsible practices at every organizational level receive recognition with medals. Proudly, this year Moquin Press has achieved the Silver Medal based on our policies, actions, and results.
What does a Silver Medal mean?
The Silver Medal signifies that Moquin Press ranks among the top 25% of audited and measured businesses globally and within the top 24% of companies in the print and packaging manufacturing category. In addition, EcoVadis scoring is created on a 0-100 scale, and recognition levels are based on a percentile ranking. By doing this, it’s easy to see how a business performs compared to its peers in a given market.
What does it mean to our customers?
For our customers, the EcoVadis Medal signifies that Moquin Press has undergone a trusted, evidence-based assessment of our sustainability performance. Furthermore, it assures that our business aligns with global best practices and demonstrates our willingness to implement sustainability management systems that surpass compliance.
